5/13/2023 0 Comments Marcus rashford you are a championSo rather than use your hands to point at other people and think ‘I want what they have!’, you can point to yourself and go, ‘I am completely unique and special, and if I work hard and stay true to myself, I can do amazing things.’ There are seven billion people in this world and no one is going to have the same fingerprints and hands as you. Sometimes you might start to think about the ways YOU could be different. It’s never a great feeling being on the sidelines and watching other people do the things you really want to do in life, and when you feel stuck your mind might start to wander, and you’ll think about how things could be different. This might make you feel trapped, and that might hurt for you. There are going to be times in your life when you’re not going to be able to do the things you want to. YOU ARE A CHAMPION WHEN YOU ARE BEING YOU

By, Bethia confesses to killing her mother, to being in Satan’s thrall, to eating forbidden fruit. Perfect setup for a situation comedy, but there are no cheap laughs in this 17th-century New England. And by the way, it’s pretty easy for Bethia to eavesdrop on her father and brother because the house has blankets for bedroom walls. It’s not clear how this is supposed to work since nobody has a clue that Caleb and Bethia are even friends, much less soul mates who’ve taught each other their native tongues. An English girl named Bethia Mayfield, burning with secret desires, learns that Caleb, her Wampanoag Indian soul mate - and, who knows, one day, perhaps more - will be joining the Mayfield home. The story begins with overheard whispers in the dark. Geraldine Brooks, once a foreign correspondent for the Wall Street Journal and more recently a Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist (for “ March,” in 2005), writes about early America the same way she wrote about Sarajevo and the Middle East, which is to say very well. We're finally back with Dexter ‘Dex’ Justice Daley (35? 36? How old are they now?!) Defense Agent for Destructive Delta (used to be a homicide detective the Human Police Force) and his Team Leader Sloane Brodie (37? 38? 39?), who's also his jaguar Therian partner and lover, centering the book. I mean, we see the rest of the crew as well, but not as much as in the previous books, and don't get me wrong, I love when the crew are together, but I think this book was very needed where we got to see D & S hit another level of depths in their relationship. They are absolutely amazing together and their love is quite powerful. who's the top of the food chain? Who is the most feared? The most rare? Did Charlie Cochet ever mention this? Anyways, I adore Dex and Sloane together. One question what's the order in which Therian species is the most powerful? I mean, they got lions, tigers, jaguars. That being said, I did skim some bits as I'm still struggling with focusing, but it was a whole lot less than the other re-reads in the series. I love that the book is actually quite focused on them and their relationship rather than a big case. I love Sloane and Dex's relationship, it's beautiful. This book is one of the better in the series. I want more books that are quite animalistic, possessive and feral. But Dex and Sloane's relationship gets even stronger. 5/13/2023 0 Comments Empire high matchmakerOnly once in my life have I lost my words at the sight of perfection – on a rainy autumn morning when I first met James Hunter.
